WHAT THE IRISHMAN
IS ALL ABOUT
WE’LL TELL A TALE FOR YOU
Facing the corner of Beech Street, set up in the Steamer Wharf, you’ll see Queenstown’s characterful, lovable pub: The Irishman.

QUEENSTOWN’S BIGGEST
IRISH PUB
Call in for a pint, stay for the craic. That’s our motto.
The Irishman is the sort of place where it’s just easy to have a good time. Where, “we’ll call in for a drink” merges into dinner, which washes down so well with a glass of wine, or another pint of the black stuff before the music starts up.
Aye, you haven’t experienced a night out in Queenstown if you haven’t experienced the craic at The Irishman.

TIES TO IRELAND, HOLDS TO THE PAST
The Irishman celebrates links between Irish history and culture, Steamer Wharf, and the wider local Otago area. For instance, the wharf has a 1912 Edwardian twin screw steamer, the TSS Earnslaw, and stout companies originally used steamer vessels to ship barrels of stout. That’s why you’ll see nods to this in and around the pub.
